On the morning of April 20, Liu Xin, deputy secretary of Hangzhou municipal Party committee and acting mayor, visited Qiantang new area for investigation. Hangzhou semiconductor wafer Co.(FTHW), Ltd. is the second stop among the five enterprises investigated.
At 9:15 a.m., Liu Xin, deputy secretary of the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee and acting mayor, Ke Jixin, deputy mayor and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Qiantang new area, together with he Meihua, director of the Qiantang New Area Management Committee and relevant leaders of the municipal government, came to FTHW to investigate the 8-inch and 12 inch wafer production projects.
Under the leadership of general manager Guo Jianyue, director Dong Xiaoping and deputy general manager Xu Xinhua, Liu Xin and his party first visited the exhibition hall and got a preliminary understanding of FTHW's 8-inch and 12 inch wafer production. Then Liu Xin and his party came to the clean channel of the 12 inch plant to visit and understand the production and equipment operation of the 12 inch silicon chip. After the on-site observation of the operation of the production line, Liu Xin encouraged FTHW to make continuous efforts and innovation, on the basis of filling in the domestic industrial gap, continuously improve the semiconductor silicon material manufacturing level, and provide strong support for FTHW to build "the first city of digital economy".
